So much for focusing on the later due date, I’m ready to go NOW. Yesterday I had lots of contractions, they’d get regular, then quit. Bummer. Today I saw the nurse practitioner, she said I’m good to go any day now. 38 weeks, baby good length, baby heartbeat good, my blood pressure low for once during pregnancy, urine clear…so now I’m excited to get on with things. she’s not officially due for another 12 days though. I was going to psyche myself out by thinking she’d come on the 15th, so I wouldn’t get impatient. Well, its not working, I’m impatient.
So now what is that logical fallacy about correlated events causing each other? I’ve got that one too: both my boys were born the day before a big snow storm. Its supposed to rain tonight!!
Of course, both my boys were born the day before a full moon also, and the moon won’t be full for another 2 weeks or so….but I’m going to be hopeful about the rain.
