Four Town Farm

I was pleased to schedule a classic young elementary field trip for our family, as my friend L is always reminding me, it’s not just about the school aged kids.  But is so happens that my 5th grader has to do a research project on climate can speak to some local farmers to do it, so the trip was good for all the family.

We had our classic hayride
Carrot washing machine demonstration (the cool twisty carrots get fed to the animals, the kids wanted to fill their bags with them though)

The farm does indeed straddle four towns, in two states, and pays taxes to all of them, this marks the spot of intersection.

And then we ate our picnic with farmstand apple cider.  B has discovered after years of disdain that apple cider is indeed a different thing from apple juice.  Then they ran through the child scaled corn maze.  What  a crisp, perfect October day!
