This morning I woke to hear DH saying, "I’ll get her." as my mind cleared, I realized that the baby crying in my dream was actually my baby crying in reality. I heard DH drop the crib rail, then I heard K proclaim indignantly, "Ma Ma, Ma-Ma-Ma!" Well, she knows which parent is the nursing parent, and this is the first time she’s said Mama! Last week she looked at a photo of DH on the fridge and cooed "eh Dwa Da!" She has been greeting him by name ever since, but not me, not until today!
I love baby talk! I'm so glad you heard that Ma-ma-ma and didn't only get a report from DH later! We're enjoying the first confirmable words over here, too. Unfortunately, Ma-ma-ma was heard at 3:30 a.m. here, too!
Blessings,
Annie
