Well, yeah, that would work too…

Yesterday at ‘circle time’ as the kids ate tea and toast, I read the chapter from the Thinking Toolbox on “How to be a Keen Observer.”  The exercises were a group of questions that they weren’t to answer directly, but to come up with a method in order to answer them.

“How many hairs are on your head?” I read.

B and I talked about using a sample and estimating, the boys suggested counting the hairs that were cut off in a hair cut, when M exclaimed:

“Cut them all off, then say you have ZERO hairs!”

Well, yeah, that would work too…
