Organizing Day

It was such a festive weekend; my In laws drove up from New York and my Cousin Ben came down from Cambridge.  The boys had enough energetic extra grown-ups available to play games with them, and K got lots of attention.  K remembered how to put her hands over her ears when the fireworks got loud, and we all slept well last night.  My camera was low on batteries, and I forgot to download my in-law’s camera before they went back though, so I’ll post photos once I scrounge them.

Today I need stamps to get the rest of the bills out in the mail, tidy up the checkbook spreadsheet, make the budget, we need to catch up on laundry, put away the grandparent presents and sort through the hand me down bags. And vacuum?  Oh I hope I can vacuum.

Tomorrow I plan out the last homeschool month – remembering that B has 9 hours a week of Summer Band Rehearsal, so he can’t do as much…something, I guess what he needs less of I will figure out tomorrow.  Got to find my mental scissors.  I need to get M scheduled for hearing and vision tests.  I need to figure out what curricula to order for next year – including some music for K, since she is old enough to get antsy if she doesn’t have some stimulation/attention too.

How do we skip things?  They needs to know it all!

Breath.  They doesn’t need to know it all before August.
