My Daughter, the Advocate

When M realised that staying home from prayer meeting meant an evening with me and K, he panicked.  Being with the guys in the family is one of M’s main goals in life.  In fact, his first near sentence was, “Without me?” when DH and B left for the store one day.

K stuck her head out the bedroom window and called, “Daddy!  Stop the car!  M wants to go wi’ you!”

He heard her; even though the car windows were shut, it was raining and the defrost and windshield wipers were on.

So, I put K to bed by myself.
