Tap Dancing on the Focus and Shutter Pedals

Once we’d decorated Mom’s tree with her after church, and still in our Sunday clothes, Mom asked for a group photo for her annual news letter. Dan and K hauled the empty boxed into Mom’s attic (it’s still a glamorous place for her). Mom has been very good about waiting for us to haul things since she wrenched her back last week. I ran home for my tripod and the foot pedals Dan had jury rigged for me to take better knitting/crochet tutorials photos.

It started calmly enough, I took a few shots to figure out where to put the camera and where we should stand.

No, using foot pedals isn't too hard, why do you ask?

I didn’t want to re-read the manual to see how to use the delay, so I thought I’d just use the focus and shutter pedals. I forgot that usually I’m sitting when I shoot a tutorial.
