I Will be Hosting the Carnival of Homeschooling

Oh Boy!

Do I always bite off more then I can chew?

If any of you who regularly read my blog have never submitted an entry to the blog carnival, please consider it.  Especially the week before June 23rd when I will be hosting the carnival ;-)

I’m trying to think of good ideas for a theme;

The Summer Solstice (just 2 days before my hosting date),

Why do I have to go to bed before sunset, Mom?

Transitioning to Summer schedule;

Why did I think year-round homeschooling was a good idea?

Robots (the boy’s idea)

The home Renovation Edition (DH just got the new TV/guest bedroom/library/living room walls prepped for painting today!)

the Periodic Table of the Elements

Philippians 4:8 (which would get articles on science put on top since things which are true are things which meet up with a standard, like measurements… OK this is a stretch, but science and nature study articles tend to fall on the bottom of the carnival of homeschooling, where people are tired of scrolling and opening things in tabs, and as a science geek girl, I’d like to stir it up a bit, and there are plenty of topics to fit the occasional atheist’s blog entries under even if the theme is a Bible verse)

Ummm I’m still thinking.  Any ideas?

  1. I like the transitioning to summer schedule idea, the robots, and anything with science. Especially since you're early in the summer and there's lots of time to inspire us. What about some sort of travel or vacation unit-study topic? I look forward to it!
