Sweet Toddler Moments

I need to write these down, because I certainly get many of the other kinds of moments!

Sunday, K asked to nap on the big bed in Grandma’s guest room, she wanted to snuggle me, a teddy bear (she calls it Dolly) and read books… out loud to me!  After a while, I was too sleepy to be good company, so she got up, snacked on peanuts (one at a time) but brought some to me. I woke up holding them.

Today at supper, she fed me her sausages, even though she likes them.  I fed her mine.

Sunday morning, really early (before sunrise) she cried for me.  When I got there she said, "Movie."
"Movie?" I asked, "Honey, it’s night time, not time for movies."  She wasn’t pointing to the living room, so I waited a little bit, and she started talking again.  "Movie.  I scared.  Alone."
"Oh, was the movie in your head?  Did you wake up all alone?  That’s called a dream."
She snuggled into my side, smiled up at me, and said "I dream.  Momma."  And she looked at me like I’d made it ALL BETTER, and sighed happily.
